Reck

The beginning of his journey with decks & mixer can be dated '94/'95 when he started to play out in clubs. That's also the time when he worked at a recordshop on the Proznastreet where he had the occasion to meet some of polands finest techno artists. With the ability to get records with independent electronic music, he kept searching the catalogue of vienna's "Black Market" picking out the best. He also played in warsaw's cult club "Blue Velvet". Later together with Froggy he engaged in another project with the aim to spread music - the "Schron" recordstore. That's also where he met Gigi and very soon the "minimalna prawda" collective was founded. Their biggest success was probably the weekly radioshow on "Radiostacja" and the same called clubnight in the "Kotly" club. In 2002 reck, together with none and pejot, they start a new collective. "Neotronika" is born! The main message is quality and no compromise for the omnipresent shoddiness spreading in clubs. The project is not focused on commercial success their parties are directed to an audience which how to deal with the presented music. In year 2003 a big cooperation started between the "neotronika" and the "dubsystem" collectives. They played a few parties together and spent a lot of time together. For the future there are a few very interesting ideas, according production, events and maybe a new radioshow. By the end of 2003 Reck joined the crew running warsaw's "Recordheadshop", being one of poland's finest recordshops with quality electronic music. Reck played in very many clubs all around poland. The parties he like the most are the ones where people come to listen to music in a nice atmosphere. His musical interests quite varied: from ambient to post-rock, post-techno, click techno, minimal, electronic dub to experimental.
