Gigi (minimalna.prawda) Warszawa/PL

Gigi was born in Bydgoszcz. As a kid he moved to Germany, where he heard techno for the first time. When he was 16 he came back to Poland and settled in Warsaw. There he started attending the legendary Trend club, where he got to know the music of such artists as: Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer or Cari lekebusch. In 1997 he started his own radio show called "strictly underground" (later "minimalna prawda") at radiostacja, a poland-wide radiostation, which at these times supported underground music very much. He invited lots of great artists to the show, both polish and foreign artists. Such foreign artists as dj Pete aka Substance, Sender Berlin, Sutekh, Damon Wild, Highfish & Diringer, and such polish artists as Jacek Sienkiewicz, Echoplex, Reck, Pete Bull or Mic Ostap have perfomed there. Later "minimalna prawda" was not only a radio show anymore. Gigi started regular parties under this name at the cult club "Kotly (B65)". Currently his favourite labels are: Kompakt, Ware, PokerFlat, Perlon, Klang Elektronik, Playhouse and Forte. He says about himself that he is a quiet and a bit secretive person, but always open for co-operation.

He played at such clubs as: Przestrzeń Graffenberga, Kotły, Rocker, B65, CDQ, Piramida, Eskulap, Mo, Klinika, Supernova, Paragraf 51, h20, U-boot, W5, Tornado, Sfinks, Inqubator, Kazamaty, Planet, Akademia, Wagon, Iskra, Prozac and many more, and he also played at such events/festivals as: Lab01 (Daimler Chrysler for EXPO2000), Train II (Warszawa-Sopot-Warszawa), Atomic Beach, Berlin days 2000 i 2002, WRO ...

He played with such artists as: Jeff Mills, Dave Angel, Tod Bodine, Zip, Marco Carola, Josh Wink, Wimpy, Dash, Pete aka Substance, Damon Wild, Pacou and others...
