Feelaz
started to get interested in electronic music in the
mid-nineties. The main reason was probably that he moved
to poland after living in germany for 12 years. On a
holiday in London he bought his first records (mainly
old Jungle stuff) and started to collect them. By this
time the first "Tresor" parties, which had a big
influence on him at this time, where organised in his
hometown Poznan and such artists as Cristian Vogel or
Tobias Schmidt played there for the first time. In 1999
he met Pete Bull who dj'd and organised small
underground parties for quite a long time already. They
got on very well so he invited Feelaz to play on some
party together. After some time (and a lot of beers and
spliffs together ;-)) they started a residency in the (latershutbythepolicefornofuckingreason)
very small but already cult club Centrala, where all
other dj's from poznan played with them for almost a
year. In year 2000 they started to organise parties in
the MO club inviting everybody who is doing cool stuff
from all over poland. Maad, Chris Da'Break, Krisb and
many others have dj'd there and such artists as Marcin
Czubala (Currently Processing rec.) or Jacek Sienkiewicz
(Recognition rec.) played a live set. Pete Bull moved to
Warsaw in 2001 and "Extension" was founded to start
something new. After that there where parties organised
in the legendary Eskulap club and a 3 year residency in
the great ZEZ club, which unfortunately closed in
mid-2004:-( By now Feelaz has played all over poland and
a few gigs abroad. The music he plays is not easy to
describe. It's a mixture of all kindz of
electro'n'broken beatz, funky techno, and anything else
what comes to his mind, never forgetting to keep the
funk and bass the dancefloor! He sometimes also plays
more housey oriented and special chill-out sets. It all
depends on the party and the people...
